Shelbourne Reynolds
Since 1972, Keith Shelbourne purchased the business assets of Reynolds Engineering Ltd and formed what is Shelbourne Reynolds today. The company's success is credited to its philosophy in providing customers with highly advanced, durable, and top-quality farm machinery. The first stripper header by Shelbourne was sold in 1990 in the US, and the concept quickly gained acceptance and sales sky-rocketed. These 20 ft. machines were mostly sought after in the eastern states, and quickly followed in popularity with rice growing states, like Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Missouri. These headers at one point were used as a disaster recovery tool to assist with harvest after hail storms had ripped through the wheat belt and laid large areas of crop on the ground. In 1995 the 28 ft. header was introduced and became popular with Western wheat belt farmers seeing the benefits of stripped straw in their No-Till farming systems. 2001 and up, Shelbourne has introduced other revolutionary farm equipment like wider stripper headers that became a favorite equipment for rice farms.
